PAP GUIDE & PAYMENT SAFETY

1. Contact us immediately on any form of query/concern

Please contact the Help Center as soon as you notice a threat to your funding source. Our representatives are available to tackle any cyber threat interrupting you from exporting your Recession Assistance payment.

2. Do not change credential during funding processes

Do not change any of your information while payments are being processed into your validated funding instruction. If there is a conflict in the information, especially your Plaid access credentials, payment processes will be put on hold, which may extend your payment delivery date.

3. Refrain from using public computers or Wi-Fi when banking online

Anytime you are using public Wi-Fi, you must assume someone could access your browser history and passwords. Avoid performing tasks that require logins, such as banking or checking emails, on public Wi-Fi networks to minimize risk.

4. Use licensed anti-virus software

Even Mac users should invest in reliable anti-virus software and check for updates frequently. Set your computer to alert you of updates or manually check on a regular schedule for the best protection against malware and viruses.

5. Disconnect your Internet when not using it

Computers that are always connected to the Internet are more vulnerable to cyber threats. Ensure your Wi-Fi is password-protected and disconnect your device from the Internet when it's not in use to improve security.
